I just got home from the Chicago March Meet. This is one of the larger O Scale shows in the country. For a listing of these shows go to http://www.oscaleresource.com/ and look at the show schedules. There will also be photos of these shows posted at the O Scale Resource soon. I had a good show. It’s always fun to see people you only see once a year at these shows. The new Missouri Pacific Caboose was well received. Some of the early cars like the SOO models and C&NW are running low and I will not make a new run for a while. There are a few left at Des Plains Hobbies, P&D Hobbies or Rails Unlimited.
Now that the Missouri Pacific Caboose is done I will get on the Louisville and Nashville Caboose. Steve DeLoach has given me copies of the L&N drawings for this car. In addition there is one on display in Fergus Missouri that I was able to photograph. The model should be out by mid summer. Those of you that are L&N fans let me know what you would like to see on the decals. Drop me an email.
I have taken new work that will keep me away from Mullet River Model Works on occasion. If I don’t respond right away to your emails I may be out of town. Hang in there, I will get back to you.
See you at the next show.
