Milwaukee Tall Cupola CabooseKit # 203008 $45.00
Laser cut plywood construction with etched brass railings and steps. One piece white metal underframe adds weight. Kit does not include trucks or couplers.These cars we remodeled from 34' box cars in 1911-1913 by the Milwaukee Road at the Milwaukee Shops. In 1927 they were remodeled again with the addition of a steel underframe to comply with Wisconsin state law. Some of the cars lasted into the 1970's. They came with tall cupolas and short cupolas. This model is of the tall cupola car.
